It's most likely the root cause of the AC issue, or a faulty interconnect, -if you're lucky. Check all CUE-related fuses first. Then ensure the steering wheel controls communicate with the CUE.The CUE system, imho, is the worst thing to happen to Cadillac since the Cimarron or V-8-6-4 engine. I sold our 2010 CTS Sedan and bought the 2014 as a "Certified pre-owned" Cadillac. So far, 2 wheels have been straightened, the left front magnetic ride strut replaced, and had 2 new cam phasers installed.

CUE is based on Linux and Linux system often becomes unresponsive when HDDs are experiencing troubles, constant resets etc. Nice Ride. Alright so I bought the 2.5 ATS a couple of months ago. Open the CUE faceplate, thereby exposing the storage area behind it. With the faceplate up, turn off the vehicle. Open the driver’s side door. It just started becoming intermittently non-responsive again in the last few months. When it acts up, NONE of the icons respond across the entire CUE Screen. Here's the Possible Work-Around: Long-hold the power button until the screen effectively shuts off (and the Analog Clock is shown). Turn the power back on. Press the desired icon.

The radio works but I have to use the steering wheel controls . Nothing has changed in the car. The CUE screens comes on but the touch part of the screen is not working for any command. Try to get the plastic alignment pins through the metal holes on both sides first. If you do not align these, the screen will crack upon tightening.
