Based on the 3998991 heads (1972/1973) I would think it is the 160HP model. Engine casting # 3970010--how to find the year. Thanks to some GREAT help, I found my engine casting number. By looking on the web pages some of you guys suggested, that number was used on 350's from '69 to '80 (also on '69 302's and '69 327's), both 2 and 4 bolt.The block is a 3970010 350 and I will go from there. When i dissassembled the engine I found that the engine had been rebuild already with very low miles on it. The inside is a clean as if I just built it, there is NO top edge on the cylinders and the bearings look great.
