Over 200 students take the Metro-North train to GFA, and it is a large part of the culture of the school. The Greens Farms Metro-North train station is at the edge of the campus. Students who ride the train (generally middle and upper school kids and their younger siblings) arrive at the same time in the morning and walk to campus together.Five GFA seniors were chosen to be recognized at this year’s Academic Recognition Assembly. Our 5K (3.1mi) course is a gentle loop through the scenic Greens Farms neighborhood in Westport. Much of the second half is on a quiet street overlooking the Long Island Sound. The start and finish is on the GFA campus.
