Many people find calculus difficult because it is still fundamentally dependent on algebra, and many people never fully mastered algebra. Even in my own experience, Calculus wasn’t hard. It was the algebra. Calculus itself wasn’t really all that difficult. The same thing is what I’ve seen with many other classmates over the years as well.
