No way to talk to Xfinity while there's an outage in my area. Official Reply. We had a power outage in my town which was restored more than 24 hours ago. However, Xfinity is still out. When I try to call the main number, it either gives me the choice to: (1) Get an update on the outage, or (2) the system hangs up on me.
