A trip to the Flume-Pool Loop, or The Flume as it is known to so many, has long been a favorite for families, hikers, photographers, and sightseers. The primary cascades are wide and are 12 feet tall. The falls are photo-friendly but not extraordinarily so. The cascades continue below, eventually passing under a bridge and through a narrow gorge. Swimming seems possible in low-water conditions, but water typically appears a bit dark.
